Although LEMI was launched recently (November 2023), the research that led to its development is at the highest academic level. By creating a valuable team composed of senior and junior researchers in applied linguistics, computational linguistics, literary studies, and information technology, we wrote a paper that was accepted at one of the most competitive computational linguistics conferences in the world, the joint LREC-COLING conference, organized by the University of Turin, Italy, from May 20-25, 2024.
The team is composed of the core LEMI team from the CODHUS research center at the West University of Timișoara, as well as collaborators from other universities in Romania (Technical University of Cluj, Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest) and collaborators from the private sector (the IT company Quarticle Research).
